The Voice of the High Rolls, New Mexico Fire Department
About our Department...
High Rolls Fire and EMS, has been serving Otero County and New Mexico for over 50 years. We operate out of 4 stations, providing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services for the citizens and visitors of the Sacramento Mountains and Lincoln National Forest region.
We serve a rugged, mountainous, and mostly rural community. Our members are volunteers, devoting their personal time and energy in the service of their community. We maintain an ISO Rating of Class 6, wilderness areas excluded.
We are always in search of new members. If you wish to become a part of our department or feel you have a skill we may find useful, please contact the Fire Chief, Mark Klaene at 575-437-6822.
