More Pictures from the 50th Anniversary Activities...
High Rolls FD conducted a few demos to show the public the kinds of activities we are called upon to perform. These demos included a pump and roll wildland fire demo, fire extinguishers, drafting and resupply, and simulated vehicle extrication operations.
Here are a few images...

High Rolls Fire and EMS, has been serving Otero County and New Mexico for over 50 years. We operate out of 4 stations, providing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services for the citizens and visitors of the Sacramento Mountains and Lincoln National Forest region.
We serve a rugged, mountainous, and mostly rural community. Our members are volunteers, devoting their personal time and energy in the service of their community. We maintain an ISO Rating of Class 6, wilderness areas excluded.
We are always in search of new members. If you wish to become a part of our department or feel you have a skill we may find useful, please contact the Fire Chief, Mark Klaene at 575-437-6822.
